So I just watched the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I expected it to be amazing, but I’m sorry, I sure wasn’t prepared for this! Words cannot describe how incredible it was!
47 beauties took to the catwalk for this years show which was taped for the first time ever in London. 2014 Maxim’s Hot 100 List winner Candice Swanepoel opened the show this year for the ‘Gilded Angels‘ section. As expected the South African beauty stunned the crowds and owned the catwalk.
As mentioned in my last post, Taylor Swift performed twice this year with her number 1 single ‘Blank Space’ and also the debut of her single ‘Style‘. As she strutted down the catwalk with bestie Karlie Kloss in arm, viewers were left in a trance deciding who wore the lingerie look better! Both in black lace, they both stunned.
This year along Taylor Swift saw performances from Hozier, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande, all of who are nominated for Grammy’s in the 2015 award season.
The internet is a beautiful thing and what someone captures on their phone, the whole world can see. As we’ve seen in the past few days, the video of angel Elsa Hosk nearly knocking out Ariana Grande with her wings has gone viral. Unfortunately though, editors and producers of the show understandably decided to cut that part out – all I can say is thank-god for the person who taped it and shared it with the world!
For the first time ever as well, two models were chosen to wear the ‘Fantasy Bra’. 33-year-old Brazilian beauties Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were both given the covered role to wear the $2 million pieces encrusted in 18-karat gold, diamonds and rubies. They stunned in both beauty inside and out and deserve nothing less having both walked the show for 15 years. Can I just say…let’s not forget along with being best friends, they’re both mums of two!!!
All models were exceptional with no mishaps at all. All beautiful in their own ways and so down-to-earth and kindhearted too. That’s what makes a real model.
And that’s the wrap. Angels, you’ve the impossible. You’ve inspired me to put down my bowl of ice-cream and do my one sit-up of the year. Wish me luck! Here we go…
