The One with Bad Blood

It’s finally here people!!

After one of histories most highly anticipated and publicized music videos we have Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood in our little hands.

After the long wait, the video premièredtonight as the opener for the 2015 ‘Billboard Music Awards’. After a weeklong teaser campaign that broke the internet countless times, we finally got to see the star-studded, futuristic, neo-noir video.

Taylor along with 17 other celebrities came together to create the dark action packed video that was of Mission Impossible style.

The video started with “Catastrophe” played by Taylor and “Arsyn” played by Selena Gomez as they engaged in a high-flying martial arts routine until Gomez kicked Swift through a window and sent her falling onto a car.

We then had cameos from all the other starlets before the girl gang walked in slow motion towards enemy Gomez and her crew whilst fire visuals surround them. But this wasn’t the only surprise. Two words, Kendrick Lamar. I was definitely excited and thrown off guard this week when it was announced that Kendrick would make an appearance. The past seven days has literally been me racking my brain trying to figure out how he would fit into it all as he’s the only guy! All I can say is that I didn’t see this one coming! This was no normal version of “Bad Blood” – Lamar rapped all the verses!!! What a beautiful surprise! The lyrics were changed and the new feel, beat and mood was just everything I could’ve dreamed of!

The star-studded line up of Taylor and her crew included;

Catastrophe – played by Taylor Swift

Arsyn  – played by Selena Gomez

Crimson Curse  – played by Hayley Williams

Cut Troat  – played by Zendaya

Destructa X  – played by Ellie Goulding

Dilema  – played by Serayah

Domino  – played by Jessica Alba

Frostbyte – played by Lily Aldridge

Headmistress  – played by Cindy Crawford

Homeslice  – played by Martha Hunt

Justice  – played by Mariska Hargitay

Knockout  – played by Karlie Kloss

Luna  – played by Ellen Pompeo   Lucky Fiori  – played by Lena Dunham

Mother Chucker  – played by Cara Delevingne

Slay-Z  – played by Gigi Hadid

The Trinity  – played by Hailee Steinfeld

Welvin Da Great  – played by Kendrick Lamar

There has been no official word from Taylor’s camp about who the song is directed to, but we can almost definitely confirm it’s Katy Perry

Swift stated in a ‘Rolling Stones’ interview last year that although she would never expose who she wrote the song about, she wanted people to know it wasn’t about an ex, it was a female in the business. After the interview was released, word was that Katy Perry had tried to sabotage Taylor’s ‘Red’tour by trying to take some of her dancers and staff members for her ‘Prism’ tour.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” said Swift.

“She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

As said in the song, “band-aids don’t fix bullet holes” so I don’t think these two have patched things up. But none-the-less, Taylor may be awkward and uncomfortable with conflict, but all I can say is I would NOT want to be Katy right now!
